James Conkling works on a variety of environmental and land use issues. With a background in political science, computer science, and cartographic design, James builds tools to visualize complex social and environmental issues, including regional instability in East and North Africa, conflict mineral supply chains, and the political economy of extractive industries. James has past work experience with Amnesty International, The Wilson Center, and the World Bank.
